22 January 2025 – The International Compliance Association (ICA), the leading professional body for the global regulatory and financial crime compliance community, in collaboration with Navigate Compliance, an award-winning regulatory risk firm, today announced the launch of a fully accredited suite of training programmes aimed at addressing the global need for advanced compliance and technological competency.

The newly accredited programmes feature the Certified Digital Risk and Compliance Practitioner pathway, which has achieved prestigious accreditation from the Institute of Chartered IT Professionals (ICITP) and is recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), aligning with the South Africa Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA’s) Learning Pathways as Professional Learning Programmes. The programme, available exclusively through Navigate Compliance, an official partner of ICA, provides learners with access to lifelong academic and professional recognition, while reinforcing compliance professionals’ commitment to continuous learning and excellence.

Some of the accredited qualifications, which are part of the Certified Digital Risk and Compliance Practitioner pathway include the ICA Certificate in Anti Money Laundering, ICA Certificate in Compliance, ICA Specialist Certificate in Corporate Governance, ICA Specialist Certificate in Anti-Corruption, ICA Specialist Certificate in AI for Compliance Professionals, ICA Specialist Certificate in Financial Crime Risk in Cryptocurrencies, among others. The programmes are expertly designed and delivered to equip compliance and financial crime prevention professionals with the contemporary skills needed to combat money laundering and tackle risk associated with new technology.
