As globalisation and de-globalisation shape the economic landscape of 2025, new trends are emerging. Artificial intelligence, new energy, semiconductors, and data assets are driving compliance operations essential for sustainable enterprise development. Simultaneously, localization and diversification of supply chains are transforming international trade models and strengthening regulations on anti-money laundering, AI technology, data security, trade sanctions, and anti-monopoly practices.
In the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in mainland China, there is a growing emphasis on corporate governance and compliance regulation. Notably, China's new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regime aims to bolster the financial system and combat illegal activities.
